Some important advice we like to share with all our clients

In 2004/2005 Part P was introduced to try and cut out the cowboy element in our trade.

Unfortunately due to the lack of skilled time served Electrical Engineers/Electricians the government brought a course known as DOMESTIC INSTALLERS/PART P which is endorsed by governing bodies like the NIC EIC etc. This course whether its 6 weeks or 3 days means they are legally allowed to work in your home. They do not have the in depth knowledge and experience which we have found at first hand.

The level of qualification they possess is level 2 , Electrician level is 3 (NVQ) City and Guilds OR A and B for the Old City and Guilds numbers, but they call themselves electricians/electrical contractors when there title is actually LEVEL 2 and shouldn’t be called qualified.
